On May 22, 2026, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard submitted her official resignation to President Trump, effective June 30, 2026.
“My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. […] At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle,” DNI Gabbard cites as her reason for the resignation.
Gabbard further said she is “fully committed to ensuring a smooth and thorough transition” leading to her resignation.
Being a strong supporter of America First and an emblem of declassifcation, over her 16 months in National Intelligence, she accomplished downsizing the ODNI, reoriented intelligence priorities, revoked dozens of deep state security clearances, investigated the weaponization of intelligence, promoted intelligence transparency and declassifcation, including of the MLK, JFK, UAP/UFO, and RFK files.
Her loss has been mourned by many members of government, including Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, Rep. Tim Burchett.
In light of the resignation of DNI Tulsi Gabbardโand the goodwill that her husband recoverd from this devastating form of cancerโmultiple other angels must also be examined. The first instance of this is a post made by Senator Rand Paul at 10:34 am on May 22. “The CIA appears to be ILLEGALLY SPYING on @DNIGabbard’s team, INTERFERING w/ investigations on the COVID coverup, the JFK, MLK, & RFK ASSASSINATIONS, UAPs, etc.” This, shared by multiple members of Congress, came mere hours before the announcement of Gabbard’s resignation.
As reported throughout the day, DNI Gabbard has been attacked, spied on, blocked, and cut off in every effort she made.
The list goes on, including Kash Patel screaming at Gabbard during a cabinet meeting and ordering her not to investigate the assassination of Charlie Kirk, as reported by Alex Jones.
