College graduates, young professionals, and future family-builders arenโt turning left โ theyโre turning away. Conservatives must wake up to why.
The right has lost and is losing the college graduates, the should-be upcoming business owners and white collar workers, young millennials, and Gen Z who should have families now.
They lost them in this election and will continue to lose them in future elections.
I am not speaking about the blue-haired ones; I am speaking about the ordinary ones, the ones that desired and were promised an ordinary, successful life through traditional means.
They lost them because the economy and society left them behind. They were bushwhacked in college and high school, corrupted in early education, their families did not deliver, the economy crushed them, and the means that used to provide success, family, and happiness no longer do.
But they are crushed by the route they took to the dead end.
The bigger problem is that the right, generally speaking, does not care. They laugh, poke fun, and troll them. They give advice that worked 40, even 20 years ago, but does not now. Worse, many accuse the young generations of nothing more than stupidity.
But these young generations are voters. They are the future of political America. As Boomers die off, Gen Z and young Millennials are taking effect.
And the right is losing its vote because they are not giving them any attention.
The left is noticing this and opportunistically taking advantage of it. This is how Zohran Mamdani won their vote; he appealed to their needs.
The right must take notice before it is too late.
