In these turbulent times and with summer approaching fast, it is important for us to keep in great physical and mental shape. Therefore, I have promised myself that I will start a daily exercise routine to get into my โ€œMission Impossible shape.โ€

Summer is always physically demanding, work has high requirements, and if I choose (like so many should) to go backpacking, a great physical condition is a requirement. Further, with the volatility of the world right now, keeping in great physical condition is always a good decision for preparedness. And of course, this does not just include physical condition, but diet, mental, and psychological condition. We have bodies designed to conquer, to exceed all limitations we imagine, to crush challenges. We have created countless problems both mentally and physically by not channeling the capabilities of the human body and mind.

The problem, though, is that, like so many, I struggle to consistently work to maximize my bodyโ€™s capabilities.

This problem had me thinking: why would I want to go through the rigors of maximizing my physical body as it is intended to, while leaving behind my conservative and Christian brothers and sisters? I donโ€™t. Therefore, I will be documenting my daily grind (or struggle, or success, depending on my perspective that day), and will be challenging you to do the same. Letโ€™s keep each other accountable and maximize what we are capable of. The enemy isnโ€™t going to wait, the world isnโ€™t going to wait. Why should we? Give me the mountain, and I will conquer it. Letโ€™s go.
