The headline says it all: Elon Musk has stopped following Karoline Leavitt. This should not even classify as “breaking news,” but here we are. This does not deserve coverage or an article, but again, here we are.
All this deserves said is this: The only reason Elon Musk does things like this on his own platform, X, is to create a stir in the media. It is an odd form of publicity. It is like poking the hornets nest. It may not cause a catastrophic frenzy (such as when he accused President Trump of being on the Epstein listโa later retracted accusation), but it is enough to cause some hornets to become agitated and start dive bombing.
The question is, why is Musk doing such moves? Consider the timing. With the creation of his America Party, he is trying to distinguish himself from MAGA. He is separating himself and attempting to create a name for his own party. Meanwhile, he is getting publicity (on his own platform) through his actions (on his own platform) by enabling clickbaiting “influencers” to run with it (again, on his own platform).
My suggestion: Ignore this. This is noise. We have business to tend to, and this is not really news worthy. But, because people are freaking out over this, I am having to dedicate time to explain this.
