Conquering Mountains: Unleashing God’s Design for Human Potential

A Call to Christ-Realization and Divine Union in a World of Misdirected Energies, Maximizing Carnate Ability

Lately, I have been writing about the problem that people are not aware of the extreme capabilities of the human body that God has blessed us with. Frankly, the human body is massively underused. We have incredible capabilities (physical, mental, psychological, spiritual, et cetera). God designed humans to be able to handle extreme toil and accomplish massive exploits and undertakings. The human brain can process information and reason better than anything on the planet, based on God Himself! The body is able, when used properly and maximized, to achieve incredible things. The problem is, people are using these energies and this incredible design for, frankly, the wrong purposes. Now, that does not necessarily make them bad purposes, but simply purposes for which they were not created or intended. Humans were not intended to use their reasoning and structure for sports. It was intended to conquer mountains, to advance their territory, to defend the Word of God, to discover new lands and new ideas, to advance, and beyond.

As I have explained countless times, in modern society, people simply do not have the same drive to massive discoveries and advancements. People scoff at intelligence, research, and intellectual reasoning. Further, people who attempt advancements and greater reasoning and intellect are publicly ridiculed by people and the mainstream media. We could spend hours discussing why this is and what the reasoning for this phenomenon is, but let me continue to my thesis in this article.

Today, everyone you meet seems to have regular visits with their psychiatrist and be diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, et cetera. This is attributed to various things, both by the mainstream and by alternative sources. While there is obviously a direct problem (with foods, medications, vaccines, et cetera actually causing these disorders and problems), I am going to present what may perhaps be the greatest contributing factor to these problems. It is rather simple, actually. It is because people have not maximized the potential of their human body! People are designed to achieve monumental accomplishments. In a metaphorical sense, we are designed to conquer mountains. We are gifted physical bodies that can achieve far more than modern man taps into. We are gifted minds that can reason beyond any other creature on the planet.

The problem: humans do not maximize this and do not use it as it is intended. We were not created simply to play sports. We were not even created to run a jackhammer (though we were created to do work). We were created to do what modern people consider insurmountable; designed to reason what people consider impossible; designed to advance, and designed to discover. The problem here is that people do not do this! People do not maximize this! This leads to countless mental, emotional, physical, psychological, and even spiritual problems! God designed people to defend their beliefs and stand for His word, yet people cower. This itself creates countless problems on the carnal body. People reside entirely indoors, creating innumerable problems. The energies people have that are being considered divergent and mental disorders, and not disorders! They are unused energies designed to be maximized in their journey on planet Earth! They are designed to be infused into projects and callings they are here to do. Instead, they are being labeled divergent and being indoctrinated to believe that such a divine quest is folly and insanity!

Perhaps the greatest quote in all of human history to my point here is Caleb, in Joshua 14:

As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.

Caleb, at eighty-five years old, asked to conquer a mountain for the Lord, for that was his divine call and the purpose of his body. At this time, he achieved what few today could imagine. This would be scoffed at. He would be treated as an imbecile. But instead, he was actually fulfilling his divine purpose, using his body (his temple) for the purpose for which it was created, and, quite literally, directing and infusing his energies (spiritual, physical, mental, emotional) into his conquest of the mountain to drive out the enemy. I do not advocate for violence, war, or killing… but the Bible shows that our energies are designed for action, and Caleb used this for war against the enemies of God.

Today, the energies seen with Caleb would be considered divergent (divergent, consider this Hitlerian phraseology) and issued a psychiatrist and medication to “normalize” them and settle them down. Essentially, to tranquilize them. But this is completely wrong. Many, many people are dealing with these problems because they are not fulfilling what they are intended to achieve and are not maximizing what they are designed to! Their energies gifted from God, empowered in their body, are not being channeled and then are being vanquished through ?harmful ?medication that defies the purpose God has given people. Perhaps people feel they are going “stir-crazy” or intensely restless because they are intended to conquer mountains!? Because they are not fulfilling their purpose endowed by God! And thus they are being pumped full of psychiatrically prescribed chemicals that can shrink the human brain by eight to eleven percent!

The ultimate human potential is not rooted in self-actualization, but rather Christ-realization, and that itself can stem from the temple, the body that Christ Himself embodied when He became man, and we reside in. Thus, human potential is fully realized when humans direct all of their faculties (intellect, body, and will [which I did not discuss in this article]) towards the divine union?. ?Failing to achieve or simply strive toward this divine union or, worse, misuse of these faculties, results in a divergence from their abilities to maximize who they are intended to be, and they cannot physically, mentally, et cetera, obtain full potential when it is spiritually disconnected from its fullness with God. Disconnection from a spiritual fullness with God is the true divergence that creates mayhem and breakdown within the human body. ?

Let us no longer squander the divine potential God has intended and woven into our bodies and souls, nor allow modern society to label our energies as disorders to be tranquilized. Like Caleb, who at eighty-five stormed mountains for the Lord, we are called to conquer the heights of our divine purpose here on Earth as warriors and ambassadors, cultivating virtues and pursuing purity of heart to realize Christ in every faculty of our being. This spiritual realization should let us discover and maximize our carnal ability. Reject the world’s mockery of intellect and faith; refuse to settle for trivial pursuits and those that dim the glory of God’s temple within you. Further, do understand your yearning may well be due to unmaximized bodily ability. Strive for divine union, where your potential finds its eternal fulfillment in the presence of the One who created you for greatness.
