With Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announcing Canada’s intention to officially recognize the statehood of Palestine at the 2025 United Nations General Assembly, social media and conservatives abroad are concerned with global security and the irrationality of the Palestinian statehood (apart from being recognized as a “terrorist state”).
President Trump of the United States has responded by warning that this move makes a bilateral trade deal “very hard” and threatens a 35% tariff on Canadian goods if an agreement is not reached by August 1.
Amid these rising events, it has become commonly recognized by American conservatives that Canada is “officially retarded.”
